In the middle of 2022, worshipers of Getúlio Vargas accuse drunk of apology for Nazism

O podcaster e ébrio ocasional Monark é vítima de linchamento virtual por parte de quem até outro dia ostentava Getúlio Vargas em manifestações antifascistas.

Tabata Amaral was elected deputy by the PDT . The party of the “great democrat” Leonel Brizola was until the other day displaying banners with the ugly face of Getúlio Vargas in “anti-fascist” demonstrations. As if that weren’t enough, the PDT of the deputy proponent of the Goebbelian bag-absorbent has as pre-candidate for the presidency none other than Ciro Gomes, whose political project is based on three pillars: “incisive” rhetoric, nationalism and (look at who came to dinner!) socialism.

For it was the eyes bulging in the harmonious face of Tabata Amaral that gave rise to the virtual lynching of Monark, presenter of the Flow podcast. Admittedly drunk, the aspiring communicator had his dream prematurely interrupted after proposing a discussion on freedom of association, expression and manifestation reserved for the most abject people in our society: the Nazis. He even tried to apologize and (nonsense!) understanding. But it was not heard by the mob who felt outraged.

And so , hysteria set in. “Apology for Nazism!”, cry the victims of paulofreirismo who, drowned in slogans, ready-made phrases and in the very superficial thinking typical of those who are allergic to thinking, are not prepared to look in the mirror and recognize the criminal character (however there is law) of the daily defense of communist ideas. And they rejoice in the possibility of yet another virtual lynching that may not even have the smell of death of concentration camps, but whose effect – the reduction of the other to one thing2022 – is the same as intended by the builders of Auschwitz and Gulag.

The situation is of an absurd size that even had a minister of the Federal Supreme Court who reinstituted the crime of opinion in Brazil manifesting. Yes, Alexandre de Moraes, himself, buffed his bald head, always too vain to comment on the matter. “The Constitution enshrines the binomial: freedom and responsibility. The fundamental right to freedom of expression does not authorize the abominable and criminal apology for Nazism”, he wrote, I want to believe in a joking tone. But it wasn’t just. Remember that digital militia that acts like little Gestapo soldiers, virtually canceling out their ideological enemies? Because even these scoundrels who do not miss the opportunity to defend the end of the State of Israel ran to signal virtue and speak out against Nazism. Oh!

Which brings me to what was supposed to be the opening paragraph of this text. That is, if Tabata Amaral hadn’t meddled with the hypocrisy typical of leftists. In it, I would appeal to the nonsense of saying that I was recently visited by my old self, who had undertaken a time travel just to let me know that soon (that is, today) I would write about a podcaster2022 drunk with bike brand name. And that he had the temerity to say, or rather try to say, that he prefers scoundrels to be able to use swastikas and hammers and sickles at will, so that they are recognized for what they are: scoundrels, scoundrels, scoundrels.

Now they’re all trying to take a sip from Monark’s disgrace. That, through drunkenness, immaturity, stupidity or a combination of all these ingredients believed that the crowd would be able to understand and reflect on an issue very dear to defenders of freedom: people who hate an ethnicity (Nazis) and people who hate a class ( communists) should have the right to join parties in order to have political representation?

More than legitimate, I would say that it is a fundamental issue for our time, contaminated by clearly Nazi and communist ideas, but which do not dare to reveal themselves as such. From the vaccination passport to the many privileges of civil servants, from science overcoming the freedom to go to the corner to take a Chicabon to the defense of “national champions”, from the arrests of political dissidents in the name of the “defense of democracy” to the aforementioned exaltation of leaders like Getúlio Vargas and Brizola, we live permeated by closeted National Socialism, defended soberly by people full of good intentions who wear Che t-shirts and who shamelessly pay homage to the ridiculous little man with a mustache who controls Venezuela, for example.

By the way, and in an addendum that is almost a PS to this text, the whole controversy surprised me in the middle of reading the great “March Violets” by Philip Kerr. It is a detective book that takes place after the rise of Hitler and before the invasion of Poland. And, because it is fiction, the book has the ability to put us in the middle of everyday discussions about what was happening in Germany at that time. A country that, strictly speaking, didn’t care about the crimes committed against Jews and other minorities. For the non-Jewish, non-Gypsy, non-homosexual and non-disabled German, what mattered was economic prosperity and advances in science. And no, in this case any similarity with the present day is unfortunately not a mere coincidence.
