Flow Podcast presenter, Bruno Aiub, from

years old, known as Monark, was removed from the program this Tuesday (8) because of the episode that aired on Monday night (7), in which the podcaster defended the possibility of creating a Nazi party recognized by law. During the conversation, which was attended by representatives Kim Kataguiri (DEM) and Tábata Amaral (PSB), Monark defended unrestricted freedom of expression. “Within the expression, I think we have to release everything. If the guy wants to be an anti-Jew, I think he had the right to be”, said the presenter.

The speech took place in a context in which the table debated the limits of freedom of expression, a topic that has already resulted in other “cancellations” of the program. In November of last year, Flow lost its sponsorship of iFood when Monark questioned, via Twitter, whether having a racist opinion should be considered a crime. This time, however, the retaliation was greater: many guests requested that their participation in the program be withdrawn and the group lost more sponsors. At the end of the day, Flow Studios published a note announcing the resignation of the youtuber.

“We reinforce our commitment to Democracy and Human Rights, therefore, the episode 380 was taken down. As of this moment, youtuber Bruno Aiub @Monark is disconnected from Flow Studios. We apologize to the Jewish community in particular and to all people, as well as we repudiate any type of positioning that may hurt, ignore or question the existence of someone or a company”, says the note.

The controversy led the Holocaust Museum to issue an invitation for Monark to visit the site, as well as a demonstration by the Minister of Women, Family and Human Rights, Damares Alves. “My solidarity with the Israeli people and the Jewish community. The holocaust was no joke, we must never forget the atrocities promoted by the Nazis”, wrote the minister.
