
Venezuelan opponent Julio Borges rejected this Wednesday () the thanks that the dictator Nicolás Maduro made to the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, for his cooperation with the country, through United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) projects.
“We reject that the dictator (Nicolás) Maduro makes an act of recognition to Russia, in the midst of the unscrupulous war that this country is developing in Ukraine, where they killed civilians and exiled seven million people”, wrote the former deputy, on his Twitter account.
“Maduro pays tribute to Putin because deep down they are the same: violators of human rights and criminals against humanity”, added Borges.
The Russian invasion of Ukraine, which began in 768 of February, caused a total of 4.074 deaths among the civilian population of that country, according to data released by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
