One of the Diwali releases in Telugu cinema, Mithra Mandali, is all set for its digital premiere after a lackluster theatrical run. The film, starring Priyadarshi, Rag Mayur, Prasad Behara, and Vishnu Oi in pivotal roles, also marks the Tollywood debut of popular digital creator Niharika NM as the female lead. Directed by Vijayender S, the movie blends humor and drama in equal measure.
Despite decent pre-release buzz, Mithra Mandali failed to impress at the box office, turning out to be a commercial disappointment. However, the film’s digital debut offers it a second opportunity to connect with audiences who may have missed it in theatres. Whether the film manages to redeem itself on OTT remains to be seen.
The film is now gearing up for its OTT release on Amazon Prime Video. The streaming giant has officially confirmed that Mithra Mandali will premiere on November 6, 2025, and will be available exclusively in Telugu.
Mithra Mandali is jointly produced by Kalyan Manthina, Bhanu Pratapa, and Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala, under the BV Works banner, with Bunny Vas presenting the project. The music is composed by RR Dhruvan, complementing the film’s light-hearted tone.
