Guaidó denounces “constant persecution” by Venezuelan security forces

Opposition leader Juan Guaidó denounced this Sunday (02/10) being a victim of “constant persecution” by Venezuelan security forces, by posting a video on his Twitter account in which it is possible to see a vehicle following him.

“One of the vehicles that follows, harasses and even attacks our team is constantly following us. It is part of what we are evidently facing with this regime”, declared the anti-Chavista leader, referring to the government of dictator Nicolás Maduro, during the video, recorded from the vehicle where he was.

Guaidó, who says he does not publish this type of video, asked Venezuelans with relatives in the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) or in security organizations to tell them that “collaborating with this system of persecution of the dictatorship is to be part of crimes that do not prescribe”.

“While the dictatorship only cares about its narco-nephews, this is what we are facing: constant persecution by regime agencies” , wrote Guaidó on the social network.

In this message, the opposition leader referred to the release this Saturday by the United States of Efraín Antonio Campo Flores and Franqui Francisco Flores de Freitas, relatives of Maduro and convicted of trafficking in New York, in exchange for the release of seven Americans imprisoned in Venezuela.

In this sense, the opposition group led by Guaidó criticized Maduro for asking the US to release the “drug traffickers” , while justifying the government of Joe Biden for releasing them to obtain the freedom of the Americans.

In recent days, Guaidó has traveled through several cities in the center of the country, where a woman attacked him with cold tea while accusing him of being a “frauder”, “liar”, “traitor” and “thief”, according to videos circulating on social networks, an incident on which the opponent, for now, has not made any comment.
