Director-turned-actor Tharun Bhascker has once again attempted to score success as a lead actor with the crime comedy film Gaayapadda Simham. Despite releasing in theaters with decent expectations, the film failed to impress audiences due to weak writing and underwhelming execution.
However, the movie has now made its digital debut. The OTT streaming rights for Gaayapadda Simham were acquired by Amazon Prime Video, and the platform has silently started streaming the film from May 22, 2026, without any prior announcement.

The movie is currently available for streaming in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages, making it accessible to a wider audience across India.
Alongside Tharun Bhascker, the film features an ensemble cast including Sree Vishnu, J. D. Chakravarthy, Faria Abdullah, Maanasa Choudhary, Kasyap Sreenivas, Vishnu Oi, Harshavardhan, and Subhalekha Sudhakar in important roles.
The film is written and directed by Kasyap Sreenivas. It has been jointly produced by Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina, Bhanu Kiran Pratapa, Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni, and Umesh Kumar Bansal. The music for the film is composed by Sweekar Agasthi, while Viplav Nyshadam handled editing and Vidya Sagar Chinta worked as the cinematographer.
Even though the theatrical run ended on a disappointing note, the makers are now hoping that the OTT release on Amazon Prime Video will help the film find a new audience among digital viewers.
