Yowamushi Pedal Season 5 Episode 11 Release Date: Sakamichi Onoda, an anime fanatic who has recently started high school, intends to join the group. Onoda didn’t have any friends in middle school who he could discuss anime, video games, Akihabara, and other otaku topics. He hopes to find such friends in the anime club, but he learns that it has been disbanded. He looks for four additional members to the club in an effort to revive it.
Onoda has been riding his mamachari, a large bicycle with a step-through frame that is often used for short rides, such as for casual enjoyment or to pick up groceries, to travel to Akihabara every week to look at or purchase otaku items. While exercising, Shunsuke Imaizumi, a fellow freshmen, and a cyclist witness a boy (Onoda) riding a mamchari up a steep hill.

Shokichi Naruko, a road racing cyclist and freshman, travels to Akihabara to purchase some Gundam plastic models for his younger siblings. While there, he encounters Onoda, who draws his attention due to his cycling prowess on the mamachari, and discovers that they attend the same university. Later, he is urged to join the bicycle racing club by both Naruko and Imaizumi, but will he?

When Sakamichi Onoda was in his freshman year of high school, the anime’s plot revolved around his desire to join an anime club. Onoda struggled to make friends in middle school who shared his interests in anime, video games, Akihabara, and other otaku culture. Despite his best efforts, the anime club was disbanded. In order for the club to relaunch, he seeks to recruit four additional members.
Onoda used to go to Akihabara every week to purchase otaku things or just to look about on his mamachari, a large bike with a step-through frame he used for groceries or just for fun. While exercising on his bike, a fellow freshman named Shunsuke Imaizumi notices a boy named Onoda riding a mamchari up a challenging slope. At Akihabara, Shokichi Naruko first encounters Onoda.
They met because of how effectively Onoda rode the mamachari; he was impressed. They eventually learn that they attend the same school. Imaizumi and Naruko later try to convince him to join the bicycle club, but he refuses.
