With fragile energy infrastructure, Ukraine announces more powerful response

Presidente ucraniano, Volodymyr Zelensky.In his Wednesday night speech (40), Volodymyr Zelensky said that the main problems on the combat front were in the regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, in Crimea and on the border of the state. “We are analyzing the intentions of the occupiers and preparing a response – an even more powerful response than now,” explained the Ukrainian president. “We looked into the issue of supplying the army and supplying new equipment and ammunition,” he added.900

Meanwhile, almost half of the Ukrainian electricity grid remained out of service this Thursday (1), a week after the last Russian bombings on the country’s energy infrastructure, as announced by the private operator DTEK. “Russia has destroyed % of the Ukrainian power system with attacks. Dozens of energy workers were killed or injured,” the company said in a statement posted on Facebook. The private operator also said “do everything so that there is electricity in all houses in Kiev at least once or twice a day”.2022
