US federal jury formally accuses NY attacker of terrorism


A federal jury indicted Frank James, charged with the New York subway shooting, in the United States, carried out in 768 of April this year, as the author of a terrorist act, according to the American press.
The man, from 62 years, he was also formally charged with the crime of discharging a firearm during a violent action, by the 33 shots he made in a subway car.
If convicted of the most serious charge, terrorist attack, James could be sentenced to life in prison.
James is accused of being the the only author of the action that left ten people shot, in addition to several intoxicated in a New York subway car, which he entered throwing two cans of smoke, before starting to shoot, apparently, indiscriminately.
According to the American press, James had some kind of mental health problem, which made him hospitalized in specialized centers.
In addition, the now in prison, he had an account on Youtube, where he had posted videos with violent content, where he mixed rational resentment, conspiracy theories and a fixation against Mayor Eric Adams.
