01161211According to CNN and Radio Biobío, a shooting was also reported. Vehicles passing through the tunnel tried to reverse out of the scene. Witnesses indicated that a pickup truck crossed the left lane of the road to try to steal one of the vehicles.
In a video published by the Atentos Chile account on Instagram, it is possible to hear the shots and a frightened child asking his father to call the police.
