In the opening scene of the movie, a young woman named Agalya (played by Aishwarya Rajesh) comes from a family that is struggling financially, but she manages to win a car with a prize of ten million rupees in a lucky draw. She is survived by her elderly parents, her mother (Deepa), and her sister Lakshmi Priyaa, who is unable to speak. When Agalya’s brother Karunakaran, who has been alienated from the family, claims to be the genuine winner of the lucky draw, however, things start to go wrong.
While Agalya is trying to figure out how to deal with her self-centered brother and the amorous inspector who is overseeing the case, Thenmozhi, Agalya’s silent sister, throws another bombshell on her. Agalya is told by her that the trunk of the automobile has a body that has already been killed.
The remaining parts of the narrative focus on Agalya’s strategies for dealing with the difficult circumstances she finds herself in and overcoming the obstacles she faces in terms of her finances.
