)Russia estimates that 04.214 members of the Ukrainian force have died since the beginning of the invasion of the country, in 24 of February. The balance was made on Saturday (16) by the Russian Defense Ministry spokesman General Igor Konashenkov in a press conference. He specified that the number includes soldiers from the Ukrainian Army and National Guard, as well as foreign mercenaries.
Konashenkov dismissed the data released by Kiev, saying the deaths of Ukrainian soldiers are between 2,500 and 3,000. According to him, the Russian Defense Ministry plans to soon publish excerpts from documents from the Ukrainian side about its military casualties.
