Rocket Boys Season 2 is all set to have its ott release and the film will be premiered on March 16, 2023, on Sonyliv.
Nikhil Advani, who is known for movies such as Kal Ho Na Ho, Patiala House, Hero, Batla House, and many more, the creator of the series, announced the second season of the series, which will be dubbed Rocket Boys 2, just a few days after the premiere of the first season.

The critically acclaimed television show will shortly resume airing on Sony LIV, and just like the pilot season, it will most likely consist of 8 episodes. Even though the producers have only recently issued an official declaration about the release date of the second season being “16 March 2023,” the first sight of the show was made available on the 15th of August 2022.
The majority of the main cast from the first season of Rocket Boys has returned for the second season, including the lead actors Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh. In the first season, they played the roles of Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, respectively. Ishwak Singh also reprises his role as Dr. Vikram Sarabhai.

What’s the story of Rocket Boys Season 2
The story of Dr. Homi J. Bhabha and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, two of the most remarkable scientists that India has ever produced, is told in Rocket Boys. The action of the novel takes place during three pivotal decades in Indian history, focusing on how the country made its way toward becoming a powerful, brave, and independent nation during those decades.
The series shows India’s scientific journey as well as some unknown expectations of the life of these two geniuses who shaped India with dreams in their eyes and vision in their minds, Dr. Bhabha engineered India’s nuclear program and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai established the Indian space program and many other institutes.

Nikhil Advani, who stars in the series, recently gave an interview in which he discussed the show and revealed that a second season of Rocket Boys is currently in the works. He also stated that the primary objective of the show’s production was to educate viewers about the actual heroes who played a role in the history of India.
Right after the first season of the show was made available to the public, Advani announced that the series would be continued for a second season. According to him, the cast and crew worked together to film both seasons, and after taking a break that was well needed, they will get to work on the post-production for the second season, which is now in progress.
