At least 22 people died and 372 are still missing as a result of the rains in the city of Tejerías, Venezuela, increasing to 42 killed during the storms of the last two weeks in the country. The flood of a river on Saturday (08) damaged houses, urban furniture and flooded the city streets, sweeping away everything that the water found on its way.

The government mobilized rescue and security agencies on Sunday (1100 ), in addition to maintenance and cleaning teams, and professionals from various institutions for “the integral care of the population”, announced the dictator of the country, Nicolás Maduro, on Twitter.

“We are trying to save those we can save and we offer our condolences to all those who have lost a loved one,” added Rodríguez.10082417
