Today marks the 50th day that the film ‘Pathaan,’ which stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, has been playing in theatres around the world. The OTT data for the film cannot be changed while it is still being shown in theatres since it is locked.
Pathaan OTT Release Date
Pathaan is all set to have its ott release and the film will be available for streaming from 22 March 2023 on Amazon Prime Video.
On March 22, this suspenseful action movie is slated to make its online streaming premiere. Reports indicate that the digital version of “Pathaan” would be made available on March 22, exactly 56 days after the film was initially screened in theatres. It is anticipated that an announcement on the release will be made soon. It’s possible that the official online streaming version of the movie will include some of the cut sequences.
John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana also star in the film Pathaan, which was directed by Shaad Ali. One of the most memorable and entertaining parts of the movie was when Salman Khan made a surprise appearance as the character “Tiger.”

On January 25, 2023, the Hindi-language action thriller Pathaan was made available in theatres for public viewing. After Zero, Shah Rukh Khan made his big-screen debut with this film, which marked his return to the industry (2018). What’s the story of Pathaan
Pathaan is an ambitious action thriller that plays to the gallery and lives up to the expectation. It marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen after four long years, thus it can be considered something of an event film. Pathaan lives up to the hype. Pathaan has a script that is hard to believe, but it has a lot of star power and a lot of style. At first, the movie feels like a film version of a Mountain Dew commercial, but it slowly but gradually finds its footing.
The story focuses on the reaction of a Pakistani officer to India’s decision to reverse the special status granted to Jammu and Kashmir under article 370. This officer believes that India should be punished for making this “error.” He tries to make contact with the imposing Jim, a former RAW agent who has been treated unfairly by his own people. With him is his beautiful partner Rubai, an ex-ISI agent (played by Deepika Padukone) whose motivations are not quite clear. As they travel from continent to continent and engage in a risky game of treachery and retribution, Pathaan, Jim, and Rubai lock eyes and horns with one another. The three competitors are racing to both ruin and save the worlds in which they have their faith.
Cast & Crew of Pathaan
The spy thriller that Siddharth Anand directs receives an over-the-top approach from the director. He portrays it more as if it were a superhero movie, which requires a significant amount of suspension of disbelief. It is clear that he is fascinated with and worships conventional Hollywood blockbusters such as the Mission Impossible series with Tom Cruise or the Marvel flicks.
You can anticipate a wingsuit similar to that of the Falcon, exaggerated action and chase sequences, death and gravity-defying stunts on cars, bikes, ice, and helicopters, immortal heroes and villains mouthing punchy dialogue, and a femme fatale, all of which will be infused with the concept of patriotism.

This is uncharted territory for SRK, who is usually loved for his roles including romance or discussion, and the majority of the film is focused on the action rather than the emotions of the characters. It is fascinating to see how, at the age of 57, he still manages to be a full-fledged action hero while allowing his physique and those intensely expressive eyes to do the talking. His presence rescues the film from having a mediocre narrative and below-average visual effects. The film’s music, composed by Vishal and Shekhar, manages to express the valor and boldness that are displayed, despite the fact that the background score doesn’t exactly feel like it’s in sync with the scenes.
Deepika Padukone is a badass and is a perfect fit for the role of the dedicated, double-crossing, and ethically ambiguous leggy spy; nonetheless, it feels as though there is a lack of chemistry between her and Shah Rukh Khan. It lacks the dynamism of the characters that John-SRK is known for creating and bringing to life. Dimple Kapadia returns to her role as Tenet, lending the proceedings the gravitas and emotional depth that they have been aching for but have been unable to find elsewhere. You can’t help but wish that other characters will play their roles with the same level of integrity as she did in hers.
