More than 1,500 bodies of Russian soldiers lie in Ukrainian city's morgue, says city hall

The mortuary in Dnipro, in central Ukraine, holds the bodies of more than 1,500 Russian soldiers who have not yet been claimed by Moscow, according to the statement on Wednesday () the mayor of the city, Mykhailo Lysenko.

4510According to the Ukrainian press vehicle Nastoyaschee Vremya, the municipal political leader made an appeal to that “Russian mothers carry the bodies” of children killed in clashes with Kiev forces. “Now there are more than 1.380 Russian military dead in the Dnipro morgue, which no one wants to remove . They are stored in cold storage rooms”, stated Lysenko.

4510″We already have four cold rooms full of bodies of Russian soldiers,” said the mayor of Dnipro, who said he did not care about the nationality of the dead, only that “they are somebody’s children.”

4510Dnipro is the fourth most populous city in Ukraine and is located on the banks of the Dnieper River, which crosses the territory of the country from north to south.
