Modern Love Chennai OTT release date: When and where to watch Amazon Prime Video’s anthology

The planned Tamil online series Modern Love: Chennai is one of three Indian translations of the American romantic comedy anthology series Modern Love, which was developed by John Carney and was based on the weekly column of the same name that was published by the New York Times. Modern Love: Chennai is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video in the coming months. It received an eight out of ten rating on IMDb and debuted in two seasons, each of which contained eight episodes.

Modern Love Chennai is all set to be premiered on May 18 2023 on Amazon Prime Video.

The Indian translation of the American anthology series Modern Love, which will be titled Modern Love Chennai and has been in development for almost a year since its official announcement, has at long last settled on a release date. This will be the third season of the show’s Indian adaptation, which is based on the one that airs in the US.

Amazon Prime Video has made the announcement that the television show Modern Love Chennai would be made available for streaming on its platform beginning on May 18, 2023. A number of talented actors, including Sri Gouri Priya, Vasudevan Murali, Ashok Selvan, TJ Bhanu, Sanjula Sarathi, Chu Khoy Sheng, Srikrishna Dayal, and Wamiqa, are featured prominently throughout the series.

What’s the story of Modern Love Chennai

“I’ve never been a fan of rom-com or love stories. Modern Love Chennai was a fun task as a result. The series’ originator and writer-director of one of the episodes, Thiagarajan Kumararaja, said it was a joy to work with Prime Video to deliver the most recent Indian edition to audiences.

Cast & Crew of Modern Love Chennai

The series features 6 episodes directed by Bharathiraja, Krishnakumar Ramakumar, Kumararaja, Balaji Sakthivel, Rajumurugan, and Akshay Sundher. Created by Thiagarajan Kumararaja, the series comprises Ilaiyaraaja, Yuvan Shankar Raja, GV Prakash Kumar, and Sean Roldan as the composers.

Since love stories have never been his thing, Kumararaja, the creator of the series and writer-director of one of the episodes, Ninaivo Oru Paravai, remarked that Modern Love Chennai presented an unusual challenge.

Wamiqa and PB appear in Kumararaja’s film Ninaivo Oru Paravai, which also has music by seasoned composer Ilaiyaraaja. Additionally, Ilaiyaraaja provided the music for Bharathiraja’s Paravai Kootil Vaazhum Maangal and Akshay Sundher’s Margazhi.

Lalagunda Bommaigal, an episode starring Sri Gouri Priya, Vasudevan Murali, and Vasundhara, was directed by Rajumurugan and featured music by Sean Roldan.

Imaigal is the title of the chapter by director Balaji Sakthivel, with the actors Ashok Selvan and T.J. Bhanu, and Yuvan Shankar Raja’s soundtrack.

Irukkura Kaadhal Enbadhu Kannula Heart Krishnakumar Ramakumar directed Emoji, and G.V. Prakash Kumar wrote the film’s music. Ritu Varma, Samyuktha Viswanathan, Pawan Alex, and Aniruth Kanakarajan are among the cast members.

Sanjula Sarathi, Chu Khoy Sheng, and Srikrishna Dayal can be seen in Margazhi, and Kishore, Ramya Nambessan, and Vijayalakshmi can be seen in Paravai Kootil Vaazhum Maangal.

Tyler Durden and Kino Fist are the producers of Modern Love Chennai.
