Based on what we saw in the teaser, it appears that MAD is a buddy comedy. It is reasonable to suppose that the film is a coming-of-age comedy-drama that centres on the exploits of three close friends. The release date of the latest Telugu comedy smash, MAD, will be available on Netflix’s online streaming service on Monday. On November 3, less than a month after it was first shown in theatres, the movie will be made accessible to view online via the site.
MAD OTT Release Date
MAD is all set to premiere on 03 November 2023 on Netflix.
The narrative of MAD goes into the lively world of hostel life among young people, and director Kalyan Shankar brings this story to life in a way that is both hilarious and engaging. Kalyan Shankar ensures that the picture is a riot of laughter and witty lines from the opening scenes all the way through the closing credits. This is the case despite the fact that the underlying story follows a predictable trajectory for the entirety of the movie.
It is clear that Kalyan Shankar is an accomplished director since he is able to successfully arrange humor throughout the duration of the movie and design a storyline that is unfailing in its capacity to make the audience laugh out loud. Even though there are instances in which logic takes a back seat and predictable patterns develop, Kalyan Shankar’s directing triumphs, resulting in a cinematic experience that is tremendously engaging from start to finish.
When and Where to Watch MAD
You can watch this buddy comedy on Netflix on 03 November 2023.
Narne Nithin, who is married to Young Tiger NTR’s sister, is making his acting debut in Tollywood with a film titled MAD, which is aimed at a younger audience. On October 6, 2023, the movie that Kalyan Shankar directed will finally be released. Sangeeth Sobhan and Nithin Ram are also featured prominently in the film in significant roles. The film’s teaser and trailer have already garnered positive feedback for their inclusion of comedic and youthful aspects.
The film’s producer, Naga Vamsi, asserted that “Mad” would be funnier than “Jathi Rathnalu,” which at the time was the most successful picture in the industry. He further announced that he will reimburse the cost of the ticket to anyone who asserts that they did not laugh at any point during the movie. When it comes to nonstop comedy, however, “Jathi Rathnalu” is head and shoulders above this movie. However, since the movie has a lot of funny parts, Naga Vamsi does not have to give anyone their money back because the movie made them laugh.
“Mad” is the kind of movie that doesn’t care about conveying a plot, leaving a message, or offering emotional or logical moments along the course of its running time. The movie makes no pretence that it will supply them. Comedy serves as its guiding principle, and the show stays true to it at all times.
What’s the story of MAD
The story of MAD centers on three carefree young men named Manoj (Ram Nithin), Ashok (Narne Nithin), and Damodhar (Sangeeth Shoban) who are enrolled in an engineering institution. They pass the time at college by engaging in meaningless brawls with their peers. Jenni (Ananthika) develops feelings for Ashok, whereas Manoj (Gouri Priya) develops feelings for Shruthi. Things shift for Damodhar, who is typically the type of guy who isn’t interested in relationships, until a girl named Vennela begins phoning him on a daily basis. The remaining portions of the movie focus on these three close friends and their time spent in college.
Cast & Crew of MAD
Vishnu Oi, Sangeeth Shobhan, Ram Nithin, and Narne Nithin were the members of the group. In particular, Sangeeth Shobhan and Vishnu Oi have absolutely knocked it out of the park with their flawless comedic timing. The emotions that Sangeeth Shobhan wore during the phone chats are absolutely priceless. If the young actor is selective about the films that he appears in, he will have a successful career.
In addition to having a sharp appearance, Ram Nithin possesses a commanding presence on screen. Even on his first outing, Narne Nithin manages to make an impression. At the very conclusion of his part, there is an element of comedy. The starring females, Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, Ananthika Sanilkumar, and Gopika Udyaan, have all done a decent job with what they were given to do.
Bheems Ceciroleo did a fantastic job creating the background score. The production values and the cinematography, which were both done by Shamdat and Dinesh Krishnan B, are excellent. The editing crew did an excellent job, which contributed to the film’s brisk pace.
In regard to the film’s director, Kalyan Shankar, I must say that he directed it with flair. The teaser for the movie demonstrates that there is a lot of humor that is meant to be taken literally. The conversations are expertly written, and the one-liners are funny and effective in their delivery. Even though there isn’t much of a plot, the filmmaker manages to keep the viewer interested through the use of situational humor.
