Kranti OTT Release Date

Kranti’s OTT date is locked and the film will have its OTT premiere on 23 February 2023 on Amazon Prime Video.

After a break of more than two years, Darshan is finally back, and fans understandably had a lot of hopes for Kranti. Fortunately, he lives up to those expectations. He has taken responsibility for the film, which suffers from an unremarkable storyline and dialogue. The movie is carried almost entirely on Darshan’s star power, although there are only a handful of lines that are particularly memorable. Rachita, who has recently finished her tenth year working in the profession, deserved a little bit more than just being known as an arm candy and an eye candy.

Even though she appears stunning, especially in the Bombe song, Darshan, who is much taller, dominates the screen in every single one of the scenes. Ravichandran, who plays the role of Darshan’s father Bhargav Rayanna, is easily the most memorable aspect of the movie. His lack of vocal expression steals the show every time.

The first two days of the Kranti movie were quite successful at the box office; the total amount of money that the movie made at the box office in India was only 13.90 crores. According to fresh data, the amount of money that Kranti made at the box office on its third day has marginally fallen. Kranti barely managed to bring in 5 crores on the third day of its run.

What’s the story of Kranti

Kranti Rayanna, played by Darshan, is a successful NRI businessman who travels back to India to attend the centenary ceremony of the school he attended as a child. But, just as the ceremony is about to start, the school abruptly collapses, leaving a number of people dead and others injured. When Kranti learns that the tragedy was staged by the crooked businessman Salatri (who was portrayed by Tarun Arora) and his cohorts in order to privatise more government schools so that they can fill their own coffers, he declares war on Salatri in order to protect the future of the schools and the students.

Cast & Crew of Kranti

The spectacular performance that Darshan gives really steals the show. The success of the entire movie rests squarely on his shoulders.

All of the actors, including Samyukta Hornad, Ravishankar, Achyut Kumar, Umashree, and Mukhyamantri Chandru, have done a wonderful job portraying their characters. Kranti required the services of a formidable foe. Because Tarun Arora’s portrayal of himself as a clever businessman isn’t very believable, the tug of war comes off as unbalanced. Fans who have been waiting for such a long time to see Darshan in action on the big screen will be disappointed to learn that there will not be a good fight. The work that Harikrishna has done as both a director and a composer has been about mediocre.

It has wonderful songs performed by a variety of performers, such as Sonu Nigam, Aishwarya Rangarajan, Santhosh Venky, Vihan, Meghana Kulkarni, Archana, Khushala, and Madhwesh Baradwaj, amongst others.

Songs by Kranti, such as “Bombe Bombe,” “Pushpavati,” and “Dharani,” have received a lot of positive feedback from listeners. The film’s score was composed by Mr. V. Harikrishna, who is also the director.

Even though Rachita Ram is a well-known actress in her own right, the role that she plays in the movie, that of Kranti’s childhood sweetheart Usha, does not contribute significantly to the movie. V Ravichandran is the only character in the movie who doesn’t fit this description, but it holds true for the vast majority of the others.

The seasoned actor plays the role of Kranti’s father, Bhargava Rayanna, and the film has a glimmer of success whenever it attempts to examine the relationship between a father and son. Even though they are seasoned performers, Umashree and Mukhyamantri Chandru are included in the cast, yet their roles have little impact on the story. Kranti’s school teacher and the crusader against the private school mafia is played by B Suresha, who is also a co-producer of the film. B Suresha gives a satisfactory performance in this role.

Tarun Arora, who is most known for his role as Anshuman in Jab We Met, makes his Kannada debut in the film Kranti as the antagonist, although he primarily just spews out lines that are ridiculously predictable. It is quite possible that his collaborators P Ravishankar and the Tamil actor Sampath Raj joined the plot without first reading the script.
