Kingston Movie Story
Set in the fictional coastal village of Thoovathur, located near Thoothukudi, Kingston explores a community crippled by fear. The sea, their only source of livelihood, is believed to be cursed. Anyone who ventures out into it is said to disappear without a trace. The locals avoid fishing, and their desperation is palpable.
Kingston (played by GV Prakash) is a fisherman caught in the crosshairs of survival and morality. He works for Thomas, a ruthless smuggler, and believes he’s involved in the illegal trade of sea cucumbers. However, Kingston later discovers he’s been unknowingly helping traffic drugs.
The plot thickens when Benjamin, a young man from the village, dies during a chase with the coast guard. This tragedy forces Kingston to reevaluate his choices.
