US Vice President Kamala Harris has tested positive for Covid-19 this Tuesday (), but has no symptoms and has not recently been in close contact with President Joe Biden, the White House announced.
Kamala’s diagnosis was confirmed through antigen and PCR tests, but the policy “has not shown any symptoms” and plans to “isolate and continue working from the vice presidential residence.”
To the 57 years, Kamala is fully vaccinated and received two booster shots. She had spent most of the previous week in California, returning from Monday night. Biden and Kamala would meet this Tuesday to receive together the daily report that the intelligence and national security agencies prepare for the president, but the meeting did not take place.
