What’s the story of Gandhada Gudi
The story of Gandhada Gudi centers on Puneeth Rajkumar, who was not just an enthusiastic traveler but also an enthusiast for all kinds of exciting new experiences. The actor makes the decision to investigate the vast biodiversity that can be found in Karnataka and hooks up with the acclaimed wildlife filmmaker Amoghavarsha JS. The two individuals then set out on a voyage that will take them across the entire state, during which they will come to find a breathtaking display of buried treasures.
Cast & Crew of Gandhada Gudi
In comparison to the other stars of Sandalwood, Puneeth is by far the most approachable. He has purposefully laboured towards increasing this reputation through his on-screen portrayal as well as the actions he has participated in off-screen. Given that most famous performers are reluctant to try new things, Puneeth’s choice to star in Gandhada Gudi might be seen as particularly courageous when seen in light of his atypical path. His unfortunate demise in the previous year has only served to endear the wildlife documentary even further to the people of Kannapolis.
The film is a showcase for the actor’s well-known persona as an intrepid traveler who is insatiably interested in the world around him. While traveling with his director Amoghavarsha through Nagarahole, Netrani Island, Malenadu forest, BRT Tiger Reserve, Jog Falls, and Kaali river, he maintains his renowned childlike smile and positive attitude the entire time.

While Puneeth tries to champion his father and thespian Dr. Rajkumar’s legacy, the docudrama provides viewers with a cinematic high. In addition to making nostalgic references to the legendary actor’s cult films that spoke of nature and wildlife, such as Gandhada Gudi (1973) and Ondu Muttina Kathe (1987), the duo also travels to Rajkumar’s birthplace Gajanur and goes through the forest in which he was held captive by the forest brigand Veerappan.
At the very conclusion of the sequence, the actor makes some suggestions that will be remembered. He invites us to take a break from the uncomplicated modern intrusions in our lives and to make an effort to enjoy a restorative engagement with nature. Gandhada Gudi encourages us to spend time in nature and suggests that we conduct a reexamination of our lives, which are characterized by a frenetic pace. It does not fail to remind us that we have a responsibility towards our land and the species that live on it.
