Lovers of hops, especially from São Paulo, have come across a label from Dogma, a brewery in the capital specializing in different variations of Indian lager beers. Of course, Dogma does other styles with care as well, but it was with IPAs that the brand stood out.
And the end of the year is good news for the brewery. The main? A 1,200 m² factory opens in Mooca, east of São Paulo. The new plant is expected to have a capacity of around 50,000 liters per month and will be equal in size to Tarantino in the northern region as a large plant in the capital.
Thus, the brewery opened in 2017 in Santa Cecília becomes a tasting room (no production, only consumption) with around 20 taps. With the new factory, Dogma will also have more space and capacity for experimental labels, especially those aged in barrels.
In addition, between the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021, the brand will have two new bars, both franchised, with 15 taps, in the Jardim Paulista and Itaim Bibi districts.
Among recent titles, Dogma has released a special bitter popular with fans of traditional English, From Rejection To Oblivion 2, which combines English hops and has an alcohol content of 5.5%; another novelty is Reflection, a very lemony hazy IPA that blends four American hops (house specialty). Both are available in 473ml cans.
