After the failures of “Extraction” on Netflix and “Radhe,” starring Salman Khan, Randeep Hooda, who is widely regarded as one of Bollywood’s finest actors, revealed on Instagram a few months earlier, that he would be appearing in a new series for Netflix titled “CAT.”
Punjab is on the verge of becoming a deadly state because of the high prevalence of youth drug addiction there. One such young person is Sunny, who is apprehended for dealing drugs. Gurnam Singh, Sunny’s brother, has a history as a police informant and is determined to do whatever it takes to help his brother get out of this situation. Gurnam’s return to work puts him in a risky situation with the local drug cartel.
Actors like Randeep Hooda, Suvinder Vicky, Hasleen Kaur, Geeta Aggarwal, Dakssh Ajit Singh, Danish Sood, Jaipreet Singh, Sukhwinder Chahal, KP Singh, and Kavya Thapar are featured in the CAT series. Balwinder Singh Janjua, Rupinder Chahal, and Jimmy Singh helmed and Panchali Chakraverty along with Balwinder Singh Januja produced CAT. The series’ music was composed by Rakesh Varma (V Rakx Music), and Arvind Krishna was in charge of the series’ photography.
CAT trailer has been published on YouTube in the month of November that caught the attention of audience, as the premise of this series looked similar to that of some real life incidents. This series is all set to premiere on world’s biggest OTT platform Netflix from December 09, 2022.
