Thevan (Arjun Ashokan), a court vocalist, and his companion Koran (Manikandan R. Archery) flee the slave trade in Malabar during the 17th century. Koran is killed while attempting to traverse a river by the female spirit Yakshi (Amalda Liz). Thevan enters a mansion owned by Kudumon Potti (Mammootty) in an effort to save his life.
