Bigg Boss 19 Controversy: Farhana Bhatt’s Family Sends Legal Notice to Amaal Mallik’s Aunt Roshan Garry Bhinder

Legal Action Over Defamatory Remarks

The reality show Bigg Boss 19 continues to make headlines not just for the drama inside the house but also for events unfolding outside. Contestant Farhana Bhatt’s family has taken legal action against Amaal Mallik’s aunt, Roshan Garry Bhinder, after she allegedly referred to Farhana as a “terrorist” during an interview.

Family Issues Official Legal Notice

On Wednesday, Farhana’s family released a statement on social media announcing that a formal legal notice had been issued against Roshan Garry Bhinder. The statement read, “Our team confirms that a formal legal notice has been issued following defamatory remarks made publicly. #FarhanaBhatt.”

According to the official note shared by Farhana’s lawyer, the family expressed “deep distress” over Roshan’s remarks. The notice has also been sent to Fifafooz’s YouTube channel — where the comments were made and to YouTube India.

The legal notice demands the immediate removal of the defamatory video, a public apology, and ₹1 crore in damages for the reputational and emotional harm caused. Copies of the notice were also sent to the National Commission for Women and the Maharashtra State Women’s Commission.

What Roshan Garry Bhinder Said

In an interview with Fifafooz in October, Roshan was asked about Farhana and allegedly said, “Evil. Terrorist. I’m sorry, I don’t want to say this. But she’s like those demons who laugh after sucking people’s blood.”

The remarks sparked outrage among Farhana’s supporters and viewers online, prompting the family to pursue legal recourse instead of engaging in social media disputes.
