Far from the traditional São Paulo beer scene, more prevalent in the western and central regions, Armazém 77 shows that the eastern side is also served well in craft beers.
In November, the bar ends six years in Penha and since 2019 as a brewery, that is, it produces its own beer. To celebrate, the suggestion is a limited creation: the good Betassaura, an American sour with the addition of lemon and beet, which gives it a beautiful raspberry color, in addition to 5% alcohol. As a characteristic, the sour is refreshing and with a pronounced sour taste.
In addition to drinking on the spot, anyone who wants to can buy a birthday kit, with Betassaura in a 473ml can and a nice glass, for R $ 50.
Of its seven taps, five are dedicated to beers produced at home, which has a production capacity of 2,000 liters per month. Warehouse styles also include Colina Summer Ale, a tribute to the neighborhood, with gossip in the formula, Desatino West Coast IPA, for hop fans, Weiss 77, wheat classic, and Tropicalis Blonde, inspired by beer. Belgian blonde. The other two taps are intended for guest breweries, like Everbrew or Croma.
In addition, brewers have a menu with around 30 labels. Armazém 77 has recently resumed its opening to the public, who can take advantage of the large open space, after a period of closure due to the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus.
Any style can be served with burgers and portions like tapioca dumplings, pepperoni sausage or, for vegans, jackfruit and artichoke drumsticks, among others.
And may the year 7 come.
