Kunchacko Boban is a talented actor who excels in commercial films. He is also an excellent director who makes films that have won awards and have gripping plotlines. This appears to be the case once more with his most recent film, “Ariyippu (Declaration),” as the teaser presents a unique perspective on the situation.
The movie was screened as part of the Asian Premiere section of the Busan International Film Festival. The only Malayalam film to be chosen for Busan Festival is Ariyippu.
Additionally, it is the first Indian film to be chosen for competition at the Locarno International Film Festival in the previous 17 years. Ariyippu participated in the IFFI’s Indian Panorama as well.
Arunachalam, Sidharth Bhardwaj, Loveleen Mishra, Kiran Peethambaran, and Dimpy Mishra are a few of the actors in the movie Ariyippu (Declaration). Along with Shebin Backer, Kunchacko Boban, and himself, director Mahesh Narayanan produced the movie. Sanu Varghese was the film’s cinematographer, and Sushin Shyam was in charge of the music composition.
Talking about the plot a Keralite couple named Hareesh and Reshmi live and work in a medical glove factory outside of Delhi. They intend to relocate permanently to another country. The couple’s employment and marriage may be in jeopardy when a classic movie becomes popular among the plant employees during the COVID-19 lockdowns.
However, the film is all set to hit the OTT space on December 16, 2022, on Netflix. Mahesh Narayan’s previous movie, “Malayankunju,” was favorably received, and his prior movie, “Malik,” debuted on Amazon Prime as soon as it was finished. This is the second movie the director has ever released online before going into theatres.
Ariyippu (Declaration), a gritty and realistic drama set against the backdrop of the corona pandemic, is destined to charm viewers with its candid depiction of the human experience.
