All Creatures Great and Small Season 4: James Herriot’s adventures as a veteran will be revisited in season 4 of All Creatures Great and Small. Before the third season had began airing, a fourth was already scheduled due to the popularity of the show. Later that year, the programme will air. Starting in the spring of 2023, filming will begin.
It is set in the Yorkshire Dales and is based on a number of books written by James Herriot, a real-life vet by the name of Alf Wight. We’ll learn what happens to James and the rest of the group once World War II begins in the new series. Here is what is known about All Creatures Great and Small’s fourth season.
All Creatures Great and Small Season 4 Plot
In fact, James and Tristan could be seen waiting in line to enlist as World War Two broke out in the last scenes of the third season. Alf Wight, in reality, did join the Royal Air Force, but not until 1942. With James and Tristan still in the Dales, it appears that the plot will just continue into 1940.
Mrs. Hall will undoubtedly make an effort to maintain order once more. While Siegfried will undoubtedly have unpleasant memories of his service in World War One as a result of the present conflict.
All Creatures Great and Small Season 4 Release Date
Next spring, it’s anticipated that filming will start on site in Yorkshire, England. Since the first two weeks of September have seen the UK premieres of All Creatures Great and Small’s first three seasons, we can assume that Season 4 will follow suit and air on Channel 5 in September 2023.
