The company Parlement Technologies, responsible for the app and social network Parler, said this Monday (10)) which will be acquired by rapper Kanye West, who legally changed his name to Ye last year, according to the Reuters news agency.
17124942Parler is a popular application among the conservative public and calls itself “the social network of freedom of expression”. The deal is expected to be concluded by the end of the year, but the value of the acquisition has not been disclosed.
The announcement comes after West was temporarily blocked by Twitter this month over a tweet deemed anti-Semitic by the platform.
