“Aadujeevitham,” also known as “The GOAT Life,” is about to make its long-awaited debut on the OTT platform, following a prosperous run at the box office. In the survival action drama film, which is based on real-life events, the South Indian megastar Prithviraj Sukumaran plays a remarkable character and delivers an impressive performance. The Malayalam language film was released in theaters in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, and it will follow the same pattern when it launches on OTT platforms.
Aadujeevitham OTT Release Date
Aadujeevitham is all set to premiere on Netflix on 19 July 2024.
The survival drama is an adaptation of Benyamin’s Aadujeevitham, a best-selling Malayalam novel published in 2008 and based on the true experience of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant laborer, and his terrible tragedy. Blessy, a renowned director, is the director of the adaption.
The protagonist, Najeeb Muhammed, is offered a job in Saudi Arabia, which prompts him to fly there in order to improve his standard of living. On the other hand, he finds himself taken captive by an Arab who compels him to live a life similar to that of a slave by herding goats in the midst of the desert for a considerable amount of time.
The movie tells the story of his difficulties and how he eventually managed to break free from the clutches of his Arab boss. On March 28, 2024, the survival drama biography titled “Aadujeevitham” or “The GOAT Life” was released in theaters as part of the theatrical release in India. In roughly four months, on July 19, 2024, the movie will finally be made available via OTT platforms.

Reports that the movie would be available via OTT platforms on May 10 were false. Though postponed, the newest sources anticipate a release date of May 26. The film, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, was a Malayalam blockbuster and a minor Telugu success.
It became the third highest-grossing Malayalam film after Manjummel Boys and 2018. The March 28, 2024 film was well-received domestically and abroad. It earned Rs 7.6 crore at the box office.
The film crossed 100 crore in worldwide box office collections in 10 days. This impressive feat confirms the film’s commercial success and status as a cinematic force.
Aadujeevitham Movie Story
Together with his companion Hakeem, played by KR Gokul, Najeeb, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran, arrives in Saudi Arabia in search of employment. Both Hindi and English are not their native tongues, and they appear to be completely oblivious in the airport. During the time that they are waiting for their sponsor, Khafeel (Talib Al Balushi) realizes that it is simple to deceive Najeeb and Hakeem to get what they want.
These individuals are brought along by Khafeel. Najeeb is forced to work as a goatherd on a remote farm in the middle of a desert region. Hakeem is also separated from him at this point. The Goat Life is about what Najeeb did at that time and what he did after that.
Cast and crew of Aadujeevitham
Under Blessy’s direction, Prithviraj Sukumaran stars as the protagonist in the survival drama “Aadujeevitham,” (The Goat Life). Based on Benyamin’s praised 2008 book of the same name, the film is much awaited as an adaptation of one of Malayalam’s most sold-off books.
Amala Paul, the female lead, joins the ensemble marking her first working relationship with both Prithviraj and Blessy. Jimmy Jean-Louis, Steve Adams, and Blessy produced the film; Prithviraj Productions distributes it. Resul Pookutty handles the sound design; A.R. Rahman provides his musical skills for the movie.
This film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as Nazeeb. We should like his transformation. Six years were spent filming the picture, and playing that persona is hard. After the film is released, his performance will be lauded. Aaadujeevitham will be his best film.
Interestingly, he resumed film production in 2018 and has made approximately 15 films since. His Salaar: Ceasefire performance was amazing. He has worked in Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi films besides Aadujeevitha. His films include Vilayath Buddha, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil, L2: Empuraan, and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
Aadujeevitham began production in 2008, however, budget constraints prevented it from filming in Saudi Arabia. Thus, Director Blessy recommended delaying. Unfortunately, the delay lasted eight years. The film was shot mostly in Dubai, Jordan, and Rajasthan later.

Amala Paul is famous in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. She debuted in Malayalam with ‘Ithu Nammude Katha’ in 2011 and thereafter appeared in Run Baby Run, Oru Indian Pranayakadha, Iyobinte Pusthakam, Lailaa O Lailaa, Shajahanum Pareekuttiyum, Achayans, The Teacher, and Christopher.
