Soon, the Tamil-language horror film 7/G will be made available on an OTT platform. Haroon is the director of the film that was released in theaters in July of this year, and Sonia Agarwal plays the lead role among the cast members. As Haroon brings horror back to an urban setting, away from the abandoned palatial houses of the village, the first twenty to thirty minutes of 7/G are a breath of fresh air. Even though they are not new, tropes such as racing from floor to floor and escalator malfunctions strike a chord with our immediate experience.
This is in contrast to the boot bungalows that we do not frequent, which need us to make an effort to engage with them. The plasticity of the characters, in addition to the ostentatious presentation of the “IT employee lifestyle,” did not appear to be too much of a problem as long as the scary moments were successful.
On the other hand, the screenplay is sent into a tailspin when the movie makes the decision to include both a good spirit and an evil spirit. From that point on, there is no way to escape the situation. 7/G movie will be available for streaming on Aha Tamil on 09 August 2024.

The characters in the movie, particularly the guys, are on the verge of being caricatured. Because of the forced nature of the language, it is difficult to get into the tale. There is a slight deviation from the norm when it comes to the urban horror and dual revenge genre, but the overall direction remains the same.
Despite the fact that her past is well known, Sonia Agarwal lends a lot of depth to her part. Additionally, Smruthi Venkat creates a gripping performance in the role of Varsha. The villain is not, in any way, appropriate. Siddharth Vipin is a decent performer in both the acting and musical realms.

The upcoming Tamil horror film follows the life of a couple who had recently relocated to a new house with their son. The plot focuses on the couple’s life. During the time that her husband is abroad, the woman does experience some strange things.
At first, the wife made an effort to disregard these strange occurrences; nevertheless, as time went on and more of them occurred, she was eventually compelled to consider the possibility that there was some kind of evil magic present in the house.
It was around the time when her husband would depart for work that she began to see these things daily. One day, she comes across objects that are floating in the air from the kitchen, and all of a sudden, a hand approaches close to her and makes an attempt to grip her neck.
As she attempts to discuss these matters with her husband, he initially tells her to disregard her because he believes she is overthinking the situation. However, as time goes on, he also comes to the realization that everything she is saying is not a lie. It is up to the woman to determine whether she should preserve her own house from the tentacles of this evil magic or whether she should leave the house immediately.

7/G is a horror film with plenty of first-half scares. In a pleasant change, the film’s women ghost-hunt while the males watch. However, poor execution and a lackluster second half negate the benefits.
More than disappointed by this lackluster film, we are outraged by its waste of potential. If there was no good spirit and the family faced the bad spirit alone, 7/G might have worked better. Brevity and simplicity would have improved the screenplay.
